FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

At Louis M. Klein Middle School our focus is on the whole child. The administrators, teachers and support staff are dedicated to creating a program focused on high standards while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Children are exposed to new areas of knowledge and are encouraged to become independent thinkers. They are challenged to develop and refine their skills and abilities so that they are ready to become members of the ever changing world around them.

Each child is celebrated for his/her individual talents at LMK Middle School. It is within this pursuit that we continue our commitment to the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of our students. We offer a rigorous and comprehensive academic program that is standards-based and meets the New York State Regents Policy Statement on Middle Level Education. In addition, our learning community has a variety of after-school clubs and athletics.

Our goal is to create a community that has a life long love of learning. We encourage each of you to become an active part of LMK.

Scott Fried
Principal

Please be aware that in order to ensure school safety we will ask for a Picture ID when you come to LMK.
